Jenny and Martyn Ellwood-Wade farm alpacas at their property near Clevedon and the Hunua Ranges. Our breeding goals are for fine, soft and lustrous blue black alpacas. However we also have other colours for their fleece and offer a full support alpaca sales service, CuestaCare, for the local area. Alpacas are the perfect animals for the lifestyle block owner but we warn you they are addictive.

Cuesta Weave offers woven alpaca products and a commission weaving service for other alpaca owners.

We are in the middle of the autumn birthing season. Molly as usual began the season with a 4 week premature Frodo. After some intensive care, he's now fine and so like Molly's first (Carlos) it's uncanny. Kiri then gave us a lovely blue black Forentina and she was followed by Francesca, Fifi and Fangio (another blue black). Fifi is a real cutie and replica of Diva and they are for sale as a low cost starter 3-in-1 package. Full size pictures on the photo page.
